Holiday Closure

Just a reminder that in Ontario we have a provincial holiday Monday February 20th, for Family Day. Please keep this in mind when you are placing orders or if you are planning a visit to Ottawa. We will re-open on Tuesday the 21st at 9am.

Classes

There are four classes offered this month. To sign up you can call, e-mail or click on the image which will take you directly to it's page in the online store.


Saturday February 4th - Wire Bending & Chain Necklace - $45.00 - 9:30-12:00pm

This is always a favorite, you will learn to use silver chain and wire to create necklaces and dangling earrings from instructor Jen Corneil. During this class students receive advise on the best tools to use, supplies, and innovative design ideas. You will leave the class with not only a finished necklace and matching earrings, but also with a wealth of ideas to use in future wire projects and the ground work for other great courses, like Designer Earrings and Advanced Wire Bending!

Saturday February 4th - Wire Wrapping a Pendant - $35.00 - 1:30-4:00pm

This popular course will introduce you to the incredible art of wrapping a stone with sterling silver wire to create the most interesting of pendants. Instructor, Jen Corneil, will teach the proper techniques and give advise on ideas you may have. Wire wrapping is a beautiful way to create versatile, wearable art! Stand out!

Saturday February 11th - Crochet with Wire - $35.00 - 1:30-4:00pm

Create a lovely bracelet using Artistic Wire and beads. This popular technique is very versatile and can be used in several different techniques and styles to create different looks. Braided or floating, create a showpiece everyone will be talking about!

Saturday February 25th - Beginner Chain Maille - $35.00 - 9:30-12:00pm

With our new line of Enameled Copper jump rings, instructor Ijeoma Onyegbula will teach you to make a beautiful bracelet using an ancient technique originally used in protective armour. There are many variations that can be created with this beginner technique. Play around with our 20 colours of rings to created stunning masterpieces.

Meredith and Irina will be on hand to talk about the finishings you can find on beads, metals and other materials used in the beading world. They will also have a selection of beads for sale after the talk. If there is anything in particular that you would like them to bring, please let us k now and we will make sure that it gets packed up. As this is not a full show, we will not be bringing our whole product line to view.
