Our 2018 summer show schedule continues with a stop in Ontario and Nova Scotia this month.

If there are items that you would like us to bring, make sure to let us know well in advance so we can load them into the van. There are so many new products that have arrived and we look forward to showing them to you.

New Weekly Sale

Starting August 7th, we will be posting a new sale on our Facebook Page for the week, ending on the following Sunday. Each sale is only good for that week and a new one will be posted every Monday morning (Tuesday morning if there is a holiday).

This sale will apply to on-line and in-store purchases on in-stock items only, no back orders.

Make sure to "like" and "follow" our page to stay up to date with all sales, promotions and happenings at the store and on the road. Feel free to share with anyone who may be interested. We appreciate your support and thank you for your patronage over the last 30+ years.


A full schedule of classes can be found on our website. These are the classes that will be offered this month.
Saturday August 11th - 9:30 to 12pm - $50
Beaded Kumihimo - Learn the traditional Japanese braiding technique adding beads to create a beautiful bracelet. Once you have the basics, try making a cord with different styles of beads like chips and crystals.
Saturday August 11th - 1:30 to 4pm - $35
Peyote 101 - In this class you will learn the beginner even count peyote stitch to make a bracelet. You will also be shown how to make a tube with the same stitch.
Saturday August 25th - 9:30 to 12pm - $75
Knotted Mala - Learn to knot a 108 bead Mala with gemstone beads and a tassel.
Saturday August 25th - 1:30 to 4pm - $40
Pearly Twirl Bracelet - Using Czech 10/0 seed beads and oval pearls, create this beautiful twisted bracelet. Whether you are attending a wedding or a family barbecue, this bracelet will add a little something to your outfit.

Upcoming Workshops


We feel privileged to again have Naomi Smith from Neyaashiinigmiing (CapeCroker), Ontario as a workshop leader. Naomi is actively involved in educating others about the ways of the First Nations people of the Woodlands and Northeastern area often through the story of beads. For over 25 years, she has designed and created traditional Native beadwork. In addition to teaching these techniques, she provides valuable insight into the history and symbolism that are the inspiration for her projects and the culture of her people.

Beaded Poppy  - $150 plus a small kit fee payable to the instructor. 
Friday October 12th 9:30 to 4pm (with a break for lunch)
Monday October 15th 9:30 to 4pm (with a break for lunch)

The poppy classes are sold out. If you are interested, we can add your name to the waiting list.

Beaded Card Case - Saturday October 13th 9:30 to 4pm (with a break for lunch) - $150 plus a small kit fee payable to the instructor.

Beaded Medallion - Sunday October 14th 9:30 to 4pm (with a break for lunch) - $150 plus a small kit fee payable to the instructor.

If you take 2 workshops – there will be a 10% reduction in each workshop fee.
If you take 3 workshops – there will be a 15% reduction in each workshop fee.
Coffee, tea, fruit and cookies will be available but please remember to bring a lunch.


Art knitting with Sayward Johnson


Learn a new technique! Sayward has a unique approach to knitting with wire. In this class you will make a shaped vessel with copper wire and also learn to hammer and shape your construction as well as how to seal, paint and patina metal. Many of the techniques can be used with enamelled Artistic Wire and you could add beads and fibres if the mood suits you.

Cost: $85.00 includes all supplies except metal double pointed knitting needles, size 3.5mm. Participants must have basic knitting skills: know how to cast on and off and do plain knitting.
