Wednesday January 17th - 1:30-4pm - $35
Beading 101 - Learn the basics of beading including how to crimp and how to choose stringing materials, metals and tools. In this class you will make a bracelet and pair of earrings.
Saturday January 20th - 9:30-12pm - $45
Knotted Necklace - Learn the traditional technique of knotting using silk thread, bead tips and gemstone beads.
Saturday January 20th - 1:30-4pm - $40
Pearly Twirl Bracelet - Using seed beads and pearls, create a beautiful twisted bracelet.
Wednesday January 24th - 1:30-4pm - $45
Wrapped Leather Bracelet - Using 4mm beads, learn to weave between leather to make a wrap bracelet.
Saturday January 27th - 9:30-12pm - $45
Wire Bending and Chain Necklace - Learn to bend and wrap sterling silver wire to connect bead segments to chain.
Saturday January 27th - 1:30-4pm - $40
Wire Wrapped Pendant - Twist and wrap wire around a stone pendant to create a cage with bail.

Upcoming Workshops

Art Knitting with Sayward Johnson - Take your knitting skills to the next level! Learn a new technique! Sayward has a unique approach to knitting with wire. In this class you will make a shaped vessel with copper wire and also learn to hammer and shape your construction as well as how to seal, paint and patina metal. Many of the techniques can be used with enamelled Artistic Wire and you could add beads and fibres if the mood suits you.

Intuitive Beading - Strengthen your creative confidence and demystify the challenge of intuitive beading! The outcome of the three part workshop will be a small beaded piece that you can turn into a brooch or put it in a frame.

What is intuitive beading you ask? It is working without a pattern sometimes even without a plan. It is a spontaneous approach to beading – one lets one’s instinct guide them. Some describe it as “working from your heart rather than from your head”. We have some “tricks” we think will help you shed some of the constraints you may feel.
