We will be closed until 12:30pm Saturday November 11th for Remembrance Day Services. We hope you are able to take a few minutes to reflect and pay respect to those who serve both at home and abroad. We are grateful for their commitment to this wonderful country!

Our 2017 show season is almost complete. With 3 stops this month - Guelph and London, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec. We hope you are able to stop by to visit and see all the new items that have been added to our product lines. If there is something that you would like us to bring for you, please make sure to let us know early so we can get it into the van.

This is the perfect time of year to sign up for a class and create something new. Many class projects would make great gifts. We are offering a variety of classes this month but space is limited so make sure to sign up soon to avoid disappointment.


Have you ever been intrigued by Dream Catchers? Come and learn how to make one with renowned artist Nick Huard and his apprentice, Watio Splicer, at the same time as learning more about this symbol of Native spirituality. Nick is Mi'kmaq from Restigouche and is now living in Kahnawake, QC. Making dream catchers since the early 1990's, approximately 40 of his art pieces are pictured and discussed in the book "Dream Catchers, Legend, Lore and Artifacts" written by Cath Oberholtzer. We have one copy in the store for anyone to look through.

Saturday November 4th - 9am to 12pm OR 1:30pm to 4:30pm
$75 which includes all materials used to make a 9" dreamcatcher with beads, sinew, feathers and willow bark.
Space is limited to 10 people per class. There are only a few spaces left.

Wednesday November 8th 1:30-4pm - $35
Peyote 101 - Create a bracelet using the even count peyote stitch. Tubular peyote will also be shown.

Saturday November 11th - 1:30-4pm - $40
Beaded Ornament - Using Toho Seed beads, learn to create a beaded net that can be draped over a Christmas ornament. A great gift idea for the holidays.

Wednesday November 15th - 1:30-4pm - $45
Loom Beading 101 - Create a bracelet on a beading loom with Czech seed beads. A take home loom is included in the kit fee.

Saturday November 18th - 9:30-12pm - $45
Wire Bending and Chain Necklace - Using Sterling silver wire and chain, learn to bend and wrap wire to connect bead segments. You will also make a pair of earrings.

Saturday November 18th - 1:30 to 4pm - $40
Wire Wrapped Pendant - Learn to twist wire around a pendant to create a cage with bail that can be attached to a chain or cord.

Wednesday November 25th - 1:30 to 4pm - $35
Spiral Rope Bracelet - Using Czech seed beads, create a rope style bracelet. A great technique for necklaces and lariats as well.

Saturday November 25th - 9:30 to 12pm - $45
Introduction to Knotting - Learn the traditional technique of pearl knotting using silk thread, bead tips and gemstone beads.

Saturday November 25th - 1:30 to 4pm - $45
Knotting with French wire - Advance your knotting skills using silk threads, French wire and gemstone beads. This technique has a more professional looking finishing.

Wednesday November 29th - 1:30 to 3:30pm - $35
Tree of Life - Using Artistic Wire and gemstone chips, create a unique pendant.
