Art knitting with Sayward Johnson

Learn a new technique! Sayward has a unique approach to knitting with wire. In this class you will make a shaped vessel with copper wire and also learn to hammer and shape your construction as well as how to seal, paint and patina metal. Many of the techniques can be used with enamelled Artistic Wire and you could add beads and fibres if the mood suits you.

Cost: $85.00 includes all supplies except metal double pointed knitting needles, size 3.5mm. Participants must have basic knitting skills: know how to cast on and off and do plain knitting.
