Greetings Beading Friends!

The beginning of a new year always seems to bring forth many messages about hope. Perhaps this year the messages were exceptionally important given all that we lived through in 2020.  We did a little research and found these interesting quotes about hope:

“Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.” – Thich Nhat Hanh. A global spiritual leader.

“To have hope is to want an outcome that makes your life better in some way. It not only can help make a tough present situation more bearable but also can eventually improve our lives because envisioning a better future motivates you to take the steps to make it happen”. Unknown

“Hope is a healer, a motivator, encourages self-belief, brings inner peace and is contagious.” Unknown

One author revealed how she found hope in experiencing small things such as flowers blooming and birds singing as well as things like the birth of a baby and acts of kindness. Towards the end of last year, she decided to make it a daily practice to identify things that give her hope and found that her coping abilities were remarkably improved.

Finally, this quote we thought would resonate with our readers: “They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.” – Tom Bodett. All of you are blessed with the creative ability to do something and we all have someone to love. Our hope is that you all can identify something to hope for. It really makes a magical difference!

Things will get better!

Cheers
