Courses
The following classes will be held at the store - 190 Colonnade Rd. South Unit 8B - with a limit of 5 participants. We have a number of immunocompromised customers and with the ongoing concern about the rapid spread of the Omicron variants, we ask that all participants wear a mask for the duration of the class. All prices include everything needed to complete the project.
Saturday November 5th - 9:30 to 12pm - $65
Beaded Scarf - Using Czech 8/0 seed beads, create a beaded scarf with a netting technique. This class is labour intensive; you will not complete the project in class.
Saturday November 5th - 1 to 3:30pm - $55
Coral Fringe - Create a fringe necklace with seed beads and glass pearls.
Tuesday November 8th - 1:30 to 4pm - $65
Bead Embroidery Basics - Using different shapes and sizes of beads, learn the basic techniques used to create bead embroidery pieces.
Tuesday November 15th - 1:30 to 4pm - $45
Beading 101 - Learn the basics of beading including crimping a bracelet, making earrings & and overview on stringing materials and tools.
Saturday November 19th - 9:30 to 12pm - $60
Bead Embroidered Holiday Cards - Learn the basics of bead embroidery while creating a holiday themed card. This technique can be used for a wide variety of beading and art pieces. *choice of 5 patterns: Tree, Wreath, Stocking, Star of David or Menorah*
Saturday November 19th - 1 to 3:30pm - $65
Mini 3D Star - Learn the combine peyote and herringbone stitches to create warped squares. Zip stitch them together to create a star.
Tuesday November 22nd - 1:30 to 4pm - $45
Fringe Earrings - Using seed beads and crystals, create a drape style earring.
Saturday November 26th - 9:30 to 12pm - $50
Beaded Ornament - Using seed beads, create a beaded net to drape over an ornament. This technique can be used to celebrate a variety of occasions.
Saturday November 26th - 1 to 3:30pm - $65
Peyote 2.0 - Take your peyote skills to the next level. Using 4 sizes of seed beads, create a wave style bracelet.
