Greetings Beading Friends

“No minute gone comes back again, take heed and see ye do nothing in vain.” This is on a famous clock at the Liberty store in London, England and made at least one of us smile. That “one” has felt that there have been many times during the new patterns of living since last March when this advice had personal relevance! It seems that others have also felt that they have not used their time well so this observation by Rollo May might give some food for thought: “In order to be open to creativity, one must have the capacity for constructive use of solitude. One must overcome the fear of being alone.” Certainly as we move towards winter we will not be able to see friends and relatives for garden gatherings so we can use the wonderful gift of time and solitude to be creative and explore new directions.

We usually don’t like to speak about the festive season this early but thought we would plant a few ideas. Elsewhere in the newsletter, you will see some ideas for greeting cards that are easy to make and would make many people happy especially if you are not able to be with them this year. We have found that some people, who don’t want any gifts, treasure these unique cards well beyond the holiday season.  They recognise the time and special thoughts that are part of the making!

We wish you all a very special Thanksgiving. We are truly thankful that we have you as part of our circle and are grateful for your continued support! Please stay safe and well.
