Do you have a minimum order?

There are no minimums at Canada Beading Supply. 

What forms of payment do you accept?

VISA, MC, AMEX, business cheques (approx 5 days to clear), e-mail transfers and C.O.D. on orders being picked up at the post office. In store we also accept debit and cash.

For on-line orders, we cannot accept Visa/Debit or MasterCard/Debit as a method of payment.

How long does it take to ship an order and what are your shipping charges?

Our goal is a less than 48 hour turn around, usually shipping the same day we receive your order. We notify customers if we cannot ship within 48 hours. Within Canada we ship Canada Post. They can deliver orders to customers in about 1-4 days depending on the service you choose and your geographical location. A flat rate of $8.95 is charged for order being shipped Expedited post. If you choose a faster shipping method, the rates will go up.  Additional charges also apply for oversized parcels.

For International orders, we ship the most cost effective way and charge our actual costs.

What is your return policy? (revised 19/09/14)

For online customers - All returns accepted. We recognise that there are some feelings of insecurity when buying jewellery supplies online. We will gladly accept returns if you are not satisfied as long as the goods are in their original condition. Please send us an e-mail or call to let us know what you are returning and why so that we can serve you better. Items must be  postmarked for return within 10 business days.

For in-store customers - Exchanges gladly accepted within 10 days of your original purchase as long as the goods are in the original condition. Please send us and e-mail or call to let us know what you are returning and why so that we can serve you better.

How do I become a customer?

Anyone can be our customer. Just start shopping online, or come to the showroom and shop!

What happens to items not in stock when I place my order?

Backorders totalling $50.00 per order will be kept on file and sent at our expense as soon as the good are received. Items on backorder more than 30 days should be re-ordered with your next order. Merchandise valued at less than $50.00 will still be indicated on your order so that you will know what is unavailable and which you may want to include on a subsequent order.

Additional services that we offer (in-store only)

Stringing or Re-stringing: If you don't want to make it yourself of need to have a necklace or bracelet restrung, we can do it for you.
Design Assistance: For a small fee by the half hour. If you choose or have a strand of beads you love but can't think of what to do with them or are perplexed about colour combinations, we can help.  We can also help with wedding jewellery or jewellery for a special outfit.  Make an appointment and bring a sample of your material or the outfit itself.
“Classes Made to Order”: Morning, afternoon or evening get-togethers.  Sessions begin at $40.00 per person.
Use of photo machine: 2 photos for each piece, image can be emailed or downloaded to your thumb drive. Cost $20.00 per half hour. In 30 minutes we can photograph an average of 2-10 pieces, depending on the size of the piece.
Use of classroom for meetings: Seats up to 10 people. Free depending on availability. Coffee and/or tea at $1.00 per person.
Donations: We are a drop-off point for beads and supplies to be donated to Operation Come Home.
