Courses

Start the new year off with a new skill - sign up for one of 8 beading classes we have scheduled this month.

Classes must be paid for in advance and there is a maximum of 5 students per class. Fees include a kit.
Courses may not run if there is only one student signed up. Why not grab a friend and make a day of it?

Saturday January 11th - 9:30 to 12pm - $55
Coral Treasure - Using seed beads and glass pearls, create a fringe necklace.

Saturday January 11th - 1 to 3:30pm $65
Mini 3D Star - Learn to combine peyote and herringbone stitches to create warped squares. Zip them together to create a star.

Tuesday January 14th - 1:30 to 4pm - $45
Peyote 101 - Learn beginner Peyote with even count to make a bracelet.

Saturday January 18th - 9:30 to 12pm - $55
Intro to Knotting - Learn the traditional technique of pearl knotting with gemstone beads, silk thread and bead tips.

Saturday January 18th - 1 to 3:30pm - $65
Ruffle Necklace - Using 4 sizes of seed beads, create a peyote stitch scalloped necklace. You must be familiar with even count peyote. This technique is labour intensive; you will not complete the project in class..

Tuesday January 21st - 1:30 to 4pm - $45
Beading 101 - Learn the basics of beading including crimping a bracelet, making earrings & an overview on stringing materials and tools.

Saturday January 25th - 9:30 to 12pm - $65
Loopy Pendant - Using wire and an assortment of gemstone beads, create a wire looped pendant.

Saturday January 25th - 1 to 3:30pm - $65
Wire Wrapped Pendants - Using round and square wire, create a cage to wrap around a stone pendant. Two different styles will be shown in class.
