Our last show for the 2024 season was a few weeks ago. We would like to thank everyone who came out to see us at one (or many) of our shows this year. It is always a great joy to reconnect with familiar faces as well as getting to meet new ones. We are however, pleased to have a break in the show schedule to restock, refresh and regroup.
Courses
Are you looking to learn a new technique this month? We are offering 5 classes in October. If there is a technique you are wanting to learn, but don't see a date option available, let us know and we can schedule a date. Classes must be paid for in advance and there is a maximum of 5 students per class. Fees include a kit.

Harmony Doll Workshop
Learn a new technique! In this class you will make a shaped doll and stitch beads onto the body with an intuitive approach. You can choose a theme such as earth, fire, the sea, vintage or just make something whimsical. You can bead the whole doll or just parts of it. Use your imagination, the sky is the limit. It will take some time to stitch the beads and students will not finish in class time.
$90 for a full sized doll Kits will include a sewn body, choice of face, an assortment of beads, needle and thread. You may wish to bring some seed beads of your own, ribbons and charms if you wish to add them to your creation.
Two date options are available:
Friday November 1st - 10am to 3pm (with a break for lunch)
Saturday November 2nd - 10am to 3pm (with a break for lunch)
Saturday November 9th - 9:30 to 12pm - $65
Bead Embroidery Basics - Using different shapes and sizes of glass beads, learn the basic technique used to create embroidered pieces. Finished pieces can be used in jewellery or art.
Saturday November 9th - 1:00 to 3:30pm - $75
Knotted Mala - Learn the traditional technique of knotting to create a Mala.
Tuesday November 12th - 1:30 to 3pm - $45
Tree of Life Pendant - Create a unique tree pendant with Artistic Wire and gemstone chips.
Saturday November 16th - 9:30 to 12pm - $65
Loopy Pendant & Earrings - Using wire and an assortment of gemstone beads, create a wire looped pendant and earrings.
Saturday November 16th - 1:00 to 3:30pm - $65
Wire Wrapped Pendants - Using round and square wire, create a cage to wrap around a stone. Two different styles will be taught in this class.
Tuesday November 19th - 1:30 to 4pm - $60
Wave Necklace - Using 4mm beads and 10/0 seed beads, create a wavy style necklace. The same technique can be used with larger beads as well.
Saturday November 23rd - 9:30 to 12pm - $60
Embroidered Holiday Cards - Learn the basics of bead embroidery while creating holiday themed cards. This technique can be used for a wide variety of beading and art pieces.
Saturday November 23rd - 1:00 to 3:30pm - $50
Beaded Ornament - Using seed beads, create a beaded net to drape over an ornament.
Tuesday November 26th - 1:30 to 4pm - $45
Wrap Leather - Weave Tila and seed beads between leather to make a wrap bracelet.
Saturday November 30th - 9:30 to 12pm - $65
Peyote 2.0 - Take your peyote skills to the next level. Combine 4 sizes of seed beads to create a wave style bracelet.
Saturday November 30th - 1:00 to 3:30pm - $55
Victorian Lace - Using seed beads and crystals, create a Victorian style lace necklace.
