Greetings Everyone!
What does Labour Day weekend mean to you? Most of us don't know that the holiday apparently began in 1894 to honour workers and their families. Now it marks the end of summer holidays, a return to school and for many a time for fresh starts and an opportunity to set new goals. Certainly, for a lot of people, the arrival of crisp fall air stimulates some energy serges, energy that was flagging with the heat and humidity of summer.
It is interesting then to look at a few quotes related to work and labour. Herman Cain observed that "Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful."
Thomas Edison felt that "Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration."
And finally from and anonymous person: "Inspiration usually comes during work, rather than before it."
Perhaps you will find some words of encouragement from these quotes as you embark on new projects or new directions this September.
We too have established a few goals and will share these ideas as they evolve in October. Wishing you a great and creative September!
