We are on the road this month to two of our favourite gem and mineral shows, which happen to be the longest running shows in Canada!

Courses

Are you looking to learn a new technique this month? We are offering 5 classes in July. If there is a technique you are wanting to learn, but don't see a date option available, let us know and we can schedule a date. Classes must be paid for in advance and there is a maximum of 5 students per class. Fees include a kit.

Saturday August 10th - 9:30 to 12pm - $65
Peyote 2.0 -  Take your peyote skills to the next level. Using 4 sizes of seed beads, create a wave style bracelet. This is not a beginner class, previous knowledge of peyote stitch is required.

Saturday August 10th - 1 to 3:30pm - $45
Dutch Spiral Rope Bracelet - Using seed beads in different sizes, create a spiral rope bracelet. This technique can be used to make necklaces and lanyards as well.

Saturday August 24th - 9:30 to 12pm - $55
Coral Fringe - Create a fringe style necklace with seed beads and glass pearls.

Saturday August 24th - 1pm to 3:30pm $45
Knotted Necklace - Learn the traditional technique of pearl knotting using silk thread, bead tips and gemstone beads.

Tuesday August 27th - 1:30 to 4pm - $65
Ruffle Necklace - Using 4 sizes of seed beads, create a peyote stitch scalloped necklace. This technique is labour intensive; you will not complete the project in class. This is not a beginner class, previous knowledge of peyote stitch is required.

Saturday August 31st - 9:30 to 12pm - $45
Beading 101 - Learn the basics of beading including crimping a bracelet, making earrings & an overview on stringing materials and tools.

Saturday August 31st - 1:00 to 3:30pm - $60
Loom Beading 101 - Create a loomed bracelet with Czech seed beads. Take home loom is included.
