Courses

Start the new year off with a new skill - sign up for one of 6 beading classes we have scheduled this month.

Classes must be paid for in advance and there is a maximum of 5 students per class. Fees include a kit.
Courses may not run if there is only one student signed up. Why not grab a friend and make a day of it?

Saturday January 17th - 9:30 to 12pm - $65
Loopy Pendant - Using wire and an assortment of gemstone beads, create a wire looped pendant.

Saturday January 17th - 1 to 3:30pm $65
Wire Wrapped Pendants - Using round and square wire, create a cage to wrap around a stone pendant. Two different styles will be shown in class.

Saturday January 24th - 9:30 to 12pm - $45
Fringe Earrings - Learn the traditional brick stitch to create a pair of fringe earrings.

Saturday January 24th - 1 to 3:30pm - $55
Intro to Knotting - Learn the traditional technique of pearl knotting with gemstone beads, silk thread and bead tips.

Saturday January 31st - 9:30am to 12pm - $65
Beaded Kumihimo - Learn the Japanese braiding technique to create a spiral bracelet. This technique is great for lanyards and necklaces as well.

Saturday January 31st - 1 to 3:30pm - $65
Bead Embroidery Basics - Using different shapes and sizes of glass beads, learn the basic techniques used to create embroidered pieces. Finished pieces can be used in jewellery or art.
