Shows
While we don't have any shows scheduled this month, we wanted to highlight the Children and Youth Powwow that is coming back after a break last year.
You can see all the shows we will be participating at by clicking on the "Trade Shows" tab on our website. Some of the dates are tentative as we await for show contracts to arrive. We hope you are able to come and see us at one (or many) of our shows this year. We always love to see familiar faces and meet new people.

Courses
Interested in learning a new technique? We have 8 classes being offered this month.
There is a maximum of 5 students per class and classes must be paid for in advance to secure your spot. Fees include a kit.
Courses may not run if there is only one student signed up. Why not grab a friend and make a day of it?
Friday April 10th - 1:45 to 4pm - $30 for a 30 minute timeslot (max 1 slot per pereson)
Project Assistance - Has it been a while since you made a certain piece and need help starting or a refresher on how to finish it? Book a 30 minute session where you can ask questions to assit with your project. The original techniuq must be from a previous class taken here at the store.
Saturday April 11th - 9:30 to 12pm - $65
Peyote 2.0 - Take your peyote skills to the next level. Using 4 sizes of seed beads, create a wave style bracelet.
Saturday April 11th - 1pm to 3:30pm - $65
Russian Spiral - Create a spiral bracelet with gemstone beads, crystals and seed beads.
Friday April 17th - 1:30 to 4pm - $55
Victorian Lace - Using seed beads and crystals, create a Victorian style lace necklace.
Saturday April 18th - 9:30 to 12pm - $65
Wire Baubles - Using wire and an assortment of gemstone beads, create a wire looped pendant and earrings.
Saturday April 18th - 1pm to 3:30pm - $65
Wire Wrapped Pendants - Using round and square wire, create a cage to wrap around a stone pendant. Two different styles will be shown in class.
Friday April 24th - 1:30 to 4pm - $60
Wave Necklace - Using 4mm beads and 10/0 seed beads, create a wavy style necklace. The same technique can be used with larger beads as well. (bracelet below shows the technique with the larger beads).
Saturday April 25th - 9:30am to 12pm - $65
Ruffle necklace - Using 4 sizes of seed beads, create a peyote stitch scalloped necklace. This technique is labour intensive; you will not complete the project in class. Previous peyote knowledge an asset for this class.
